1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website, utilizing our online Solar Savings Calculator, requesting a project quotation, or entering into a solar engineering agreement with Smart Solar Solutions ("we", "our", or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please contact us for clarification before proceeding with service orders.

2. Solar Calculator & Estimator Disclaimer

The interactive Solar Calculator provided on our website is designed to provide informational and preliminary guidance based on typical Bihar solar irradiation averages (approx. 4–5 kWh/kW/day), current state DISCOM electricity tariffs, and prevailing PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana subsidy formulas.

• Actual energy generation, monthly financial savings, and roof area required will depend on exact site-specific shadow analysis, rooftop structural integrity, azimuth orientation, weather patterns, and actual household power consumption.
• A formal binding quotation is finalized only after a physical or verified satellite engineering assessment conducted by our certified technical team.

3. Equipment Quality & Manufacturer Warranties

Smart Solar Solutions supplies and installs only certified Tier-1 equipment meeting MNRE (Ministry of New and Renewable Energy) standards:

• Solar PV Modules: High-efficiency Tier-1 Mono PERC panels backed by an OEM 25-year linear performance warranty and 10 to 12-year product warranty.
• Inverters & Hybrid Systems: Premium on-grid, off-grid, and hybrid inverters backed by official 5 to 10-year manufacturer replacement/service warranties.
• Mounting Structures: Hot-dip galvanized mounting structures engineered to withstand local wind loads and regional weather conditions.
• Workmanship Warranty: We provide dedicated local after-sales installation and maintenance support from our Tarapur engineering center.

4. Government Subsidy & DISCOM Net-Metering Approvals

For residential rooftop installations under the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana or institutional net-metering setups:

• Smart Solar Solutions assists the client in preparing, submitting, and tracking the official portal application and DISCOM bi-directional net-meter synchronization.
• Government subsidy amounts (e.g., up to ₹78,000 for residential 3kW systems) are credited directly to the beneficiary's bank account by the government authority upon final technical inspection and DISCOM meter commissioning.
• Disbursement timelines and eligibility are governed by central/state government policy and DISCOM operational schedules.

5. Client Responsibilities & Site Access

To ensure safe and timely execution of the solar project, the client agrees to:

• Provide reasonable and safe access to the rooftop, electrical distribution board, and earthing pit locations for our installation engineers.
• Ensure accurate electricity consumer number (CA Number) and valid ownership/tenancy documentation necessary for DISCOM net-metering clearance.
• Maintain basic module cleanliness (periodic water rinsing) in accordance with provided maintenance instructions to sustain peak power generation.

6. Payment Terms & Milestone Billing

Commercial and residential solar contracts follow standard milestone-based payment schedules agreed upon in the project quotation (e.g., initial advance booking, delivery of equipment to site, and final commissioning balance). All financial transactions are acknowledged with official tax invoices.

7. Limitation of Liability

Smart Solar Solutions shall not be held liable for generation shortfalls resulting from unapproved third-party structural alterations, grid outages on the utility DISCOM line, force majeure events (extreme natural calamities, lightning strikes exceeding surge protector ratings), or unauthorized tampering with inverter firmware or electrical wiring.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions and any contracts entered into with Smart Solar Solutions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising hereunder shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Munger, Bihar.
